It explores the legal framework governing copyright protection at both national and international level. The study investigates the extent to which copyright law deters infringement and supports creative industry in Uganda. Through a combination of doctrinal, qualitative, and physical library data collection analysis the research identifies key challenges undermining the law’s effectiveness and also the enforcement mechanisms in the Act.
