It majorly focuses on establishing the effect of the TB cast campaign that was conducted by Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau (UPMB) to track down the increasing spread of tuberculosis disease in the areas of Masese and Walukuba respectively. The campaign involves Mobilization, sensitization, and training of the village Health Teams (VHTs) and the community health workers. This looks out at the effect of sensitization about how the disease is very infectious, the signs, the diagnosis, and the treatment plan. The study also aims to find the effect of mobilization of the stakeholders in reducing the spread of the disease. The effect of the training that was carried out by (UPMB) as part of the campaign aims at reducing the spread of TB in Jinja district. The study is carried out using a qualitative research design. The data is collected using questionnaires and interviews during the data collection; simple random sampling methods are applied. A sample size of 16 respondents, including the (VHTs) and community-based health personnel from both Masese and Walukuba in Jinja district, Uganda, is used. The study's interviews provide clear insights into the experiences of VHTs and other stakeholders concerning training, sensitization, and mobilization as facilitated by Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau in tuberculosis prevention. These experiences demonstrate a significant role in reducing tuberculosis cases and increasing prevention rates through effective follow-up and tracking by VHTs. The TB cast campaign project emerges as pivotal components in tuberculosis prevention and management in Masese III and Walukuba, Jinja district. These services ensure accessible and comprehensive healthcare, particularly in underserved areas. By actively identifying and addressing tuberculosis cases through screenings, diagnostics, and treatment, the TB cast campaign plays a crucial role in alleviating the disease's burden.
