The study was based on three objectives and these were; to assess the importance of cash flow management for the overall performance and success of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to examine the relationship between effective cash flow management practices and the financial stability of SMEs, to identify the key factors influencing cash flow management in SMEs and their impact on business performance. The researcher used qualitative research designs based on already published information which included reports. From the study findings, the cash flow management had a positive but insignificant effect on the financial performance. This implies that cash flow management has no any influence on the financial performance. From the findings of the study it was also established that the size of the company had a negative and insignificant effect on the financial performance. It implies that the size of the company has no any influence on the financial performance.
