By employing a mixed-methods approach, including surveys and interviews, we analyze how mobile money platforms enhance access to financial services among individuals lacking traditional banking infrastructure. Findings indicate that mobile money significantly improves transaction efficiency, savings behavior, and access to credit, particularly among women and low-income households. The study also highlights challenges such as digital literacy and trust in technology. Overall, mobile money services emerge as a vital tool for fostering financial inclusion, promoting economic empowerment, and bridging the financial gap in Kauga, Mukono.
