The study employs a comparative case study approach to explore the benefits, limitations, challenges, risks, and effectiveness of technology-based internal control systems in the banking industry. The research utilizes a combination of quantitative and qualitative data collection methods, including surveys/questionnaires, interviews, and open-ended survey questions, to gather insights from employees and key personnel at Absa Bank Uganda.
