It specifically focused on; examining the influence of online order placement on service delivery in logistics companies, establishing the influence of digital payment systems on service delivery in logistics companies and assessing the influence of electronic data interchange on service delivery in logistics companies. The study was carried out using a cross sectional survey research design where both quantitative and qualitative research approaches were also used. The data was collected using questionnaires and interviews during the data collection, both purposive and simple random sampling methods were used. A sample size of 172 respondents who are management and employees of Bollore Transport & Logistics Uganda Ltd was also used in the study although 150 responded to the study. From the findings, it was revealed that online order placement, digital payment systems, and electronic data interchange (EDI) have all garnered positive perceptions from respondents. These technologies are seen as user-friendly, reliable, and efficient tools that not only improve communication with customers but also streamline various aspects of the company's operations. The consensus among respondents indicates that these digital advancements contribute significantly to achieving better service delivery, ultimately benefiting both the company and its customers. As such, embracing and further optimizing these technologies appears crucial for Bollore Transport & Logistics Uganda Ltd as it seeks to maintain and enhance its service standards in the dynamic logistics and transport industry. Finally, the study recommended that Bollore Transport & Logistics Uganda Ltd invest in enhancing its online order placement system for improved user-friendliness, detailed information, and efficient processing. It also suggests strengthening digital payment systems with a focus on security and convenience, while leveraging electronic data interchange (EDI) for streamlined communication.
