Item ELGON AGRO POULTRY FARM MANAGEMENT SYSTEM(2024-10-01) NABENDE ENOS WILLAIMAbstract As a requirement for a student to acquire a Bachelor’s degree in information technology, he/she has to undergo graduating in order to gain experience necessary in the field and for the job market. This is at least done from a known organization which deals with some coming beyond mere theoretical work and to satisfy this requirement, I trained with Uganda Christian university. his project report presents the design and development of a poultry management system for efficient stock, sales, and expense management. The system aims to address the challenges faced by poultry farms in Uganda, including inefficient stock management, inadequate sales management, poor expense management, limited data analysis, and regulatory compliance issues. The project was carried out at Uganda Christian University as a requirement for the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. The system was designed and developed using a combination of technologies, including e.g. PHP, MySQL, and HTML. The system features a comprehensive stock management module, a sales management module, an expense management module, and a data analytics module. The system also ensures regulatory compliance with relevant laws and regulations in Uganda. During the project, I acquired various skills, including software development, data analysis, and problem-solving. I also developed soft skills, such as teamwork, communication, and time management. The system was tested and evaluated, and the results show that it can improve the efficiency and productivity of poultry farms in Uganda. The system can be used by poultry farmers, farm managers, and other stakeholders in the poultry industry. This project contributes to the body of knowledge in the field of information technology and poultry management, and it has the potential to make a positive impact on the poultry industry in Uganda.
