    The Benefits of the Education Support Program on the Social- Emotional Development of Children in Compassion International Assisted Projects: A Case of Kyabenda Child Development Center in Kamwenge District

    The research was conducted as title: The benefits of the education support program on the social- emotional development of children in compassion international assisted projects: a case of Kyabenda child development center in Kamwenge district. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the benefits of the education support program on the social emotional development of children in Compassion International assisted projects; a case of Kyabenda CDC and it had the following objectives, to establish the benefits of career guidance on the children’s social emotional development, to examine the benefits of sports and games on the social-emotional development of children, assessing the benefits of school visitations on the social-emotional development of children. This study was employed both qualitative ad qualitative research methods with a cross sectional research design was used and a sample of 48 respondents participated in this study. The findings of the indicated that career guidance has helped to improve the social emotional development of the children. They are now more confident, have a positive attitude towards assignments and are able to relate better with their peers.
