Assessment on the Decline of the Youth Ministry in Bukedea Archdeaconry

The study assessed the decline of the youth ministry in reference to Paul’s letter to Ephesians 4:14-16 in Bukedea parish, Bukedea archdeaconry in the Diocese of Kumi. The study was guided by the following objectives; To analyze the scriptures on the Biblical teaching on the youth ministry as per (Ephesians 4:14-16). To apply what the Biblical teaching on the youth ministry to the youth of Bukedea Archdeaconry, Diocese of Kumi. The study adopted library research design and empirical approach. The researcher also conducted interviews where he asked questions based on the objectives that were posed to the respondents and their answers were recorded. The study established that the reasons for the decline of the youth ministry in Bukedea parish were generally encompassed on leadership disagreement among the top church leaders, poor mentorship of young leaders, leadership gap from the grass root churches up to Diocesan level, pressure from Pentecostal churches, youth involving into marriages outside the teachings, tradition and beliefs Anglicanism. In conclusion, chapter five the researcher will be able to give his suggestions and recommendations to the decline on the youth ministry in Bukedea parish, Bukedea Archdeaconry Diocese of Kumi.
