dc.description.abstractThis study investigates the relationship between instagram usage and mental health outcomes among Uganda Christian University (UCU) students. With the growing popularity of social media, concerns about its impact on mental health have emerged. This study aims to explore how instagram usage causes anxiety, depression, self-esteem and social comparison among UCU students. Qualitative approach will be employed majorly using in-depth interviews. The study will also examine moderating factors such as self-identity and mediating factors such as fear of missing out. These findings will contribute to understanding the study carried out.
