dc.description.abstractDomestic violence has continued to spread all over the world and stands to be a challenge affecting many individuals, families, nation and the church at large like in Katojo Parish, Nyabiteete Archdeaconry, North Kigezi Diocese. This problem has led to the division in spiritual beliefs. Social norms and institutions. This research topic aims to explore many different aspects that church leaders play in addressing domestic violence within their congregation. This study seeks to identify both the challenges and opportunities in creating a safe and supporting evil for the victims of domestic violence and with findings will contribute to a better understanding of how religious institutions can effectively address this issue, promoting the wellbeing and safety of all members with church community.
