The current study sought to determine the impact of organizational justice on employee engagement at Stanbic Bank Uganda. The research was prompted by the desire to establish how an organization’s fairness in allocating rewards, decision making, and interpersonal relations affects the level of engagement of its employees. A cross sectional research design was used and data was collected through questionnaires that were administered to the employees. Organizational justice was categorized into three main dimensions: distributive, procedural and interactional organizational justice. From the analysis, it was evident that workers have an overall impression of organizational fairness especially regarding interpersonal relations and communication by the managers. It was also clear that worker engagement is relatively high because employees have an element of pride in their job performance. There is a significant positive correlation between organizational justice and worker engagement. Interactional justice had the highest impact, suggesting that interpersonal relations and communication greatly influence workers' perceptions about their work. The findings show that there is an essential link between fairness and engagement in organizational activities. The researchers suggest that employees’ participation in the decision-making process and transparency in communication should be increased.
