Abstract The objective of this project, titled "[Traffic manage," is to develop a comprehensive Traffic Management System for Mbale, designed to optimize traffic flow, improve road safety, and manage traffic signals more efficiently. The project addresses the growing challenges of traffic congestion and road safety in urban areas by leveraging modern technologies and data-driven approaches. The system is composed of several key modules, including Pedestrian Management, and road incidents. These modules are integrated to provide decision-making tools for traffic management authorities. The user interface is designed to be intuitive, offering dashboards and forms for managing traffic data, while the communication interface ensures seamless interaction with other systems and external data sources. This report documents the design, implementation, and testing phases of the Traffic Management System, highlighting the methodologies used, challenges faced, and the solutions developed to address these challenges. The project results demonstrate significant improvements in traffic flow management and provide a scalable solution that can be adapted to other urban environments. This Traffic Management System represents a step forward in the modernization of urban traffic control, contributing to safer and more efficient road usage in Mbale and potentially other similar cities.
