This dissertation provides the critical analysis on the respect and observance of the patient’s rights in Uganda. It explores the legal framework governing patient’s rights both at national and international level. The study investigates the extent to which the rights of patients have been observed and respected by different actors in Uganda. Through a combination of qualitative and physical library data collection analysis the research identifies key challenges undermining the Patient’s Rights. The study, therefore, provides recommendations which include allocation of funds, a structured framework for tele-medical and digital health, legal and ethical education, and support training in cultural competency
