dc.description.abstractThe study was carried out with the purpose of enhancing productivity in Small and Medium Enterprises in Kampala, Uganda. The study was guided by the following objectives to examine; To recognize the challenges that SMEs face in implementing productivity and modifying strategies, providing recommendations for SMEs to get control of these challenges and increase their productivity, assess the effectiveness of these strategies in increasing SMEs productivity, identify the strategies that small and medium Enterprises can put in place to enhance their productivity in central Kampala. This research applies a case study approach to gain a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by Small and Medium Enterprises in Kampala in their chasing of heightened productivity.
