dc.description.abstractThis study is primarily about the role of parliament in promoting good governance focusing on the Ugandan government as a case study for this research. This concept is made up of eight sections. Section one discusses the background of the study about the parliament and good governance. Section two presents the main objective and the specific objectives of the study. Section three brings out the problem statement in the study. Section four shows and indicates the scope of the study, content of the study which will focus on examining the problems facing the Ugandan parliament as it tries to conduct good governance. Section five indicates the justification of the study; section six shows the significance of the study to the people of Uganda, section seven points out the theoretical framework of the study and the conceptual framework which put emphasis on the Ugandan parliament.
