dc.description.abstractThis research report was undertaken to examine on supply chain integration and organizational performance in private sectors. It was guided by three objectives; to explore the effect of information sharing on organizational performance of Mt. Elgon millers Ltd, to analyze the effect of supplier management on organizational performance of Mt. Elgon millers Ltd, to determine the effect of supply chain agility on organizational performance of Mt. Elgon millers Ltd. The researcher used a sample size of 44 respondents and used questionnaires and interview guide to collect data and later the data was analyzed using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS). Results of the first objective showed that information sharing has a significant effect on organizational performance of Mt. Elgon millers Ltd. Supported by the following responses; 62.3% who also constituted the majority were positive to the statement that organizations that actively promote information sharing among employees exhibit higher levels of innovation and productivity. Results of the second objective revealed that supplier management has a significant effect on organizational performance of Mt. Elgon millers Ltd. Supported by the following responses; 64.5% were positive to the statement that the organization has proactive monitoring systems experience lower product defects and higher customer satisfaction. Results of the third objective showed that supply chain agility has a significant effect on organizational performance of Mt. Elgon millers Ltd. 55.5% had a positive response to the statement that supply chain agility facilitates shorter lead times, improved response to demand fluctuations, and higher product availability, leading to enhanced operational efficiency and cost reduction. There is need to encourage employees to work together and share information freely. This can be achieved through team-building activities, open communication channels, and creating cross-functional teams that encourage collaboration. Utilize communication tools like project management software, instant messaging platforms, and video conferencing to facilitate information sharing among employees.
