Abstract
This research assesses the role of Sports Law in addressing the governance challenge facing the sports sector in Uganda. The sports sector in Uganda if well tapped into could bring about social and economic growth especially when it comes to government revenue. Sports in Uganda still faces a number of challenges due to poor governance. This research therefore elucidates the legal framework of the Sports sector in Uganda and how it has addressed the poor governance challenge. Most importantly, the research provides for different solutions to this challenge.
