This study examined the impact of procurement practices on supply chain performance in manufacturing organizations with Roofings Uganda Limited as a case study. The paper discussed four basic procurement practices supplier selection, contract management, e procurement, and sustainable procurement and their impacts on main performance indicators like efficiency, costeffectiveness, reliability, and the overall supply chain outcomes. To determine the connections between these practices and supply chain performance, a mixedmethods research was utilized, as it used quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews. Findings showed that successful supplier selection improves the quality of inputs and reliability of suppliers, whereas good contract management promotes compliance, accountability, and risk mitigation. It was discovered that e-procurement systems enhanced procurement processes making it more efficient, transparent and quick. Sustainable procurement helped in saving costs in the long run, environmental stewardship, and increased reputation of the organization. The research confirms that strategic procurement advances in the form of improved supplier evaluation, effective contract management, digital transformation, and sustainability integration have a strong impact on improving supply chains.
